INDIVIDUAL THERAPY.
Sarah Koop, MEd, LPC, offers individual therapy with an eclectic style. Sarah’s style includes psychoeducation, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT- a form of CBT), Adlerian Psychology, Humanism, Behaviorism, Motivational Interviewing, and Transtheoretical Model of Change, Mindfulness and Visualization *. Sarah is in good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AzBBHE) with no past or present complaints or actions taken against her, and she remains current on training and best practices.
It is Sarah’s birthday wish (see our Home Page) that you are able to receive therapy whether that means traditional one-on-one talk therapy or through other means. Explore more options below!
*Note that each of the above styles and theories if selected will navigate you to a link to explain further.
therapy GROUPs.
Sarah Koop, MEd, LPC, offers group therapy with an eclectic style to address needs including grief/loss, divorce, social skills, and parenting/coparenting. Therapy groups are different from support groups (below) as they are for treating mental health symptoms and creating and addressing goals surrounding those symptoms. Evidence-based techniques are used in group to help all group members promote healing and change with the assistance of the group facilitator (Ms. Koop in this case).
Our therapy groups at ECS are:
Based on topic/concern and generally smaller
Can be co-ed but not always
Require an intake appointment before joining
Held via telehealth
If you are interested or have questions, please complete this form to receive more information.
support GROUPs.
Sarah Koop, MEd, LPC, offers support groups addressing topics including multigenerational homes, parents of children with mental illness, and partners/support persons of someone with a mental illness.
Support groups are different than therapy groups (above) as they are not always led by a professional, although in this case they are. Additionally, the format is different including a brief concept being shared by Ms. Koop at the beginning of group and then a group discussion where each member is able to share about their experience in a more informal way. The goal of support groups is for emotional support more than for addressing treatment goals.
Our support groups at ECS are:
Based on topic/concern and generally larger
Usually co-ed but not always
Our most cost-effective option
Require a brief orientation appointment before joining
Held via telehealth
If you are interested or have questions, please complete this form to receive more information.
